Tra i suoi lavori, il cortometraggio Il cappellino, presentato in festival Italiani ed Internazionali (Albania, Polonia, Grecia, Portorico, Turchia, Marocco e Stati Uniti) ed è finalista al Giffoni film festival e candidato ai Globi d’oro 2009 come miglior cortometraggio italiano. Nel 2012 il film Una domenica notte, segna il suo esordio al lungometraggio. Nel 2013 presenta il cortometraggio AnnA alla 70ª Mostra del cinema di Venezia, cortometraggio sul tema delle “dimissioni in bianco”, commissionato dal Dipartimento per le Pari opportunità della Basilicata e dai sindacati CGIL, CISL e UIL. Nel 2014 produce, scrive e dirige il cortometraggio Thriller, presentato in prima assoluta al Giffoni Film Festival 2014. Il corto, ambientato interamente a Taranto, riceve oltre 70 riconoscimenti nazionali ed internazionali e vince il David di Donatello 2015 per il miglior cortometraggio Italiano. Nel febbraio del 2016 è il direttore artistico dei “Soundies Awards” di Casa Sanremo. Il contest – destinato alle case discografiche che partecipano al 66º Festival della Canzone Italiana – diviso in due sezioni (Campioni – Nuove Proposte) premia il miglior videoclip italiano dell’anno tra i brani in concorso. Il 13 Giugno del 2016 presso la sede UNESCO di Parigi, rappresenta l’Italia per la rassegna “Les Nuits en Or” assieme ad altri 33 registi provenienti da tutto il mondo, ricevendo la Medaglia d’oro per il Cinema dalle mani dell’attrice italiana Claudia Cardinale. Dall’ottobre dello stesso anno viene scelto dal Club Tenco per curare la regia del prestigioso Premio Tenco che, dal 1974 assegna i riconoscimenti alla canzone d’autore italiana e internazionale.

Amongst his works the short movie Il Cappellino, showed in Italian and international Festivals (Albania, Poland, Greece, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Morocco and USA) and also selected for the finals in Giffoni Film Festival and runner in the Globi d’Oro 2009 as best Italian short movie. In 2012 the feature Una Domenica Notte marks his debut as a film director. In 2003 he shoots AnnA and brings it to the 70th Mostra del Cinema in Venice, a short movie about the topic of “blank resignations”, commissioned by the Dipartimento per le Pari Opportunità of region Basilicata and also by CGIL, CISL and UIL labor unions. In 2014 he produces, writes and directs the short movie Thriller, premiere screened in 2014 Giffoni Film Festival. The movie, full set in Taranto, receives more than 70 national and international awards and also wins the 2015 David di Donatello as best Italian short movie. In February 2016 he is the artistic director of the “Soundies Awards” of Casa Sanremo. This contest – made for the record companies in competition in the 66th Festival della Canzone Italiana – splitted into two sections (Campioni – Nuove Proposte) awards the best Italian video of the year amongst the songs in competition. On June the 13th, in the UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, he represents Italy in the “Le Nuits en Or” review with other 33 directors from all over the world, receiving the Cinema Gold Medal from the hands of Italian Legend Claudia Cardinale. From the October of the same year he has been chosen by the Club Tenco to take care of the tv direction of the prestigious Premio Tenco that, from 1974, gives the awards for the Italian and international Author’s Song.
