Figlio del musicista Enrico, studia composizione e pianoforte al Conservatorio Santa Cecilia di Roma. Universalmente noto per le colonne sonore dei film di Dario Argento, tra le quali Profondo Rosso, Suspiria, Phenomena, Opera, Il Cartaio, La Terza Madre ha composto anche per G.A. Romero (Zombi e Wampyr), per la televisione (Gioca Jouer) e per molti altri film. Fondatore della band Goblin, alla quale il suo nome è spesso associato, crea nel 1999 i Daemonia, con i quali ripropone il suo immenso repertorio in chiave progressive-metal. Giurato nell’edizione 2003.
Son of the Maestro Enrico, he studies music and piano in the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. World wide known for his works in the movies of Dario Argento, such as Profondo Rosso (Deep Red), Suspiria, Phenomena (Creepers), Opera (Terror at the Opera), Il Cartaio (The Card Player), La Terza Madre (Mother of Tears) he wrote music also for George A. Romero (Dawn of the Dead and Martin), for Italian TV (Gioca Jouer) and for many other movies. He founded the prog band Goblin, to which name is often resembled, he creates in 1999 Daemonia, a band with he plays his gigantic repertoire in prog-metal style. Jury Member in 2003 edition.
