(Sarajevo, 23/2/1971) – Regista – Director
Nato e residente a Sarajevo, nel corso della sua carriera ha diretto quattro lungometraggi vincendo oltre ventitre premi in svariati festival nel mondo. Autore di un cinema che non dimentica l’impegno sociale guarda con malinconia alla sua martoriata terra, da sempre vera protagonista delle sue pellicole. Ha lavorato anche con il regista Michael Winterbottom come primo assistente alla regia per BENVENUTI A SARAJEVO (1996). Ospite del Kimera Film Festival per due volte, ha presentato il suo BELVEDERE in anteprima ufficiale per l’Italia nel Festival. La sua filmografia comprende 10 MINUTES (2002); GO WEST (2004); BELVEDERE (2010). Giurato nell’edizione 2006. Ospite nell’edizione 2011.
Sarajevo born and living, during his career has directed four movies but has won more than 23 prizes in several Festival all over the world. His cinema never forgots social commitment and looks with melacholy to his suffering land, the real main character of his movies. He also worked with the director Michael Winterbottom as 1st assistant director in WELCOME TO SARAJEVO (1996). For the second time is guest of Kimera Film Festival and he hosted there the official Italian premiere of BELVEDERE. His filmography includes: 10 MINUTES (2002); GO WEST (2004); BELVEDERE (2010). Jury member in 2006 edition. Guest in 2011 edition.
